Diploma in Bricklaying Level 1

Learners will learn about the industry, including the principles of constructing buildings, and about information used in building design and construction. They will also learn about health, safety and environmental issues on construction sites, and how to communicate with others on the job as well as learning practical skills specific to bricklaying, including building solid walls, interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures, and constructing cavity walls forming masonry structures.
