Learn how to support people living with dementia

Research has shown that more than 944,000 people in the UK are living with dementia - a number that is steadily increasing as people are living longer. Although there's no cure for dementia, early diagnosis can mean people get the right support and live a more fulfilled life.

If you support people living with dementia, this course aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of dementia and its effects. You will learn about the various types of dementia, the importance of early diagnosis, and the crucial role that communication, interaction, and inclusion play in the provision of effective dementia care and support.
