The Level 2 Diploma in Hair and Media Makeup is a qualification designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to work as a makeup artist or hair stylist in media-related industries like film, TV, and theatre.
You'll learn techniques in hairdressing, beauty, and media makeup, including client consultations, cutting, colouring, and styling hair, as well as applying makeup for different purposes.

- 16+ and have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years, depending on status.
- Bursary offered to all eligible 16-19-year-olds.

We offer a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3 certificates and diplomas, accessed through government funding and Advanced Learner Loans.

No. We will make sure that you work at a level that is suitable for you.
Yes, almost all of the training on offer is free due to the course being partly funded by the European Social Fund, Adult Education Budget and other associated funding streams. Some courses may not be funded but can be paid for with an Advanced Learner Loan. We know that can sound confusing, but we can help you figure out what's best for you.
For those aged 16-19 you may be eligible for a training bursary or allowance depending on which country you live in.
