Our construction pathway is designed to prepare you for employment in the construction industry.
Eligibility
This course is government funded, you must meet the following criteria to be able to study for free:
- You must currently live in England
- You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years for purposes other than study
- You must be over the age of 19
- You must be unemployed
We'll fund your first CSCS card application.
FAQ's
CSCS cards provide proof that an individual working on a construction site has the required level of training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. The CSCS Green Labourer Card is a type of CSCS Card, which evidences that a labourer can perform basic construction-related work on a site.
To apply for your CSCS card, you must pass your CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test. You must also have completed a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. As part of your course, you will achieve this qualification and book in for your test.
Yes - if this is your first CSCS card, we'll offer you full support and apply for your Green Labourer CSCS card on your behalf.
All CSCS cards cost £36 and all CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) tests cost £22.50. As part of this course, we will fund your first badge and test costs, so you won't have anything to pay.
