How is SME funding changing?
In today's fast-changing economy, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are seeing big changes in how they get funding. The UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, announced some new rules that will make it easier for SMEs to get funding for apprenticeships, which are training programmes to develop and upskill your team.
On 1 April 2024, the government agreed to fully fund SME apprenticeships by removing co-investment from employers and instead paying the full cost of training for anyone up to the age of 21. This means SMEs won't have to pay anything towards the training costs, making it much simpler and more cost effective for them to take on apprentices.
At Learning Curve Group, we're here to help SMEs make the most of these changes. We'll guide you through the process and help you understand how to use the funding to train new talent and grow your business. With our support, you can make the most of these opportunities and build a brighter future for your team and your business.
