The qualification builds on existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and develops more detailed and enhanced technical skills. Covers how to creatively style and dress hair, cut hair using a combination of techniques, colour and lighten hair and provide client consultation services.

Covers how to provide fashion and photographic make-up services and whilst monitoring and maintaining health and safety practices in the salon, ensuring all treatments are carried out with health and safety of yourself and your client.

Covers body massage, Indian head massage, and massage with pre-blended oils, stone therapy, monitoring procedures in the salon and contributing to the planning of a promotional event.

This course builds on existing knowledge and understanding of barbering and will develop an enhanced repertoire of technical skills to prepare you for employment as a senior barber.
